Preparation and Optical Properties of Two Dimensional Structure of SiO2-ZnO-Ag Thin Film
Abstract:We made an analysis-exploring tool with high performance based on SERS. This kind of tools not only applicable in environmental science, but also widely used in biomedicine, nano-materials and sensors. In this paper, the mechanism of SERS and research background are briefly described, and the production method of SERS substrate are in-depth analysis, even the self-assembly of metal nanoparticles has been focused. According to previous reports, noble metals possess SERS activity owing to the electromagnetic enhancement caused by surface plasmon resonance mechanism. Recently, people find that several synthesized ZnO/noble metals nano composites as hybrid SERS substrates have also been reported. For example, TiO2, Fe3O3, ZnO also have the SERS effects. Especially ZnO, as an important semiconductor materials, has highly stable chemical nature,the direct band gap is 3.37eV and 60meV of electron volt gap. Thus, ZnO gained great attention due to its potential performances. In this experiment, the ZnO nanorods array was constructed on the SiO2 substrate, and then the array was functionalized by self-assembly method, then the Ag nanoparticles were attached. The morphology and structure of the substrate were characterized by SEM and XRD. At first, the base of different silver content and firing time was analyzed and compared. On the other hand, the Raman enhancement effect of different conditions on different concentration of probe molecules was analyzed. The study of the preparation of nano materials shows the potential application of environmental protection and economic organic pollutants detection.
