1、选题的意义及研究状况:
At present,a complete curriculum reform in compulsory education has been widely put into effect.English teaching method has changed greatly. The term"task”began to be used in applied linguistics. Task-based language teaching is an influential teaching approach put forward by language teaching researchers in the 1 980s after tons of research and practice.Advocating the task-based language teaching methods can fulfill the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability. It is well known that reading plays a very important role in senior high school, but the traditional teaching method pays too much attention to language forms,separates meaning from discourse and neglects the cultivation of students' reading strategies and skills. In China, TBT,which is still in the experimental stage, has not been successfully practiced in the classroom.
2、主要内容、研究方法和思路:
1. some key theories of the Task-based Langue Teaching, including the definition, the theoretical bases, the principles of designing tasks in the Task-Based Approach, teachers’and students’ roles in the Task-Based Approach.
2. to discuss the investigation about implementation of TBT in high school English teaching and reflection on the reasons.
3. comparison between the TBT and the traditional teaching method, and to demonstrate that TBT can be used effectively in English reading classes.
Research methods: questionnaire survey, case study and documentary research.
3、准备情况:
At the preparation stage, relevant works and materials will be searched on Internet database and in the school library. The author of this thesis will study all the materials carefully and summarize the useful information.
