螺旋锥齿轮数控机床英文参考文献和翻译 Abstract. Precise machining spiral bevel gear (SBGs) on Numerical Control
(NC) machine tools has attracted much research attention. This paper presents a
new precise SBGs CAD/CAM model with Loop subdivision algorithm. The in-
volute surfaces for spiral bevel gears and pinions are first modelled with para-
metric surfaces. From them and a set of parameters, an initial mesh model is
created for gear surfaces. This mesh model is then used as a base for a subdivi-
sion surface. The precision of subdivision surfaces can be exactly controlled by
a subdivision process which can generate enough machining points on the de-
signed tooth surface model. As a result, all meshing points of the tooth surface
for a pair of gear and pinion can be applied on NC machines for higher-
precision surface manufacturing. This novel SBGs CAD/CAM modelling
method has been evaluated with precision. The precise model could be ex-
tended to hypoid gear and other complex surface design.

1 Introduction
Spiral bevel gears (SBGs) are efficient and precise mechanisms for industrial machin-
ery. To achieve higher precision, interchangeability in transmission units and more
strict functional requirements, such as quiet running, lubrication facilities, loading
capability, many professional organizations and technology-advanced countries in
gear-industry established their own standards to direct and monitor the gear manufac-
ture process, such as BS ISO 17485:2006, ANSI/AGMA 2009-B01 and so on.
For increasing precision, much research has been conducted such as technological
developments by industrial companies and concepts and methodologies investigated
by universities and research institutes. In 1989 the first six-axis numerical control
(NC) milling machine tools, a special machine, was developed in Gleason works,
brought more possibility for precision-improvement. ,3152
