Though many experts have published many articles or books relevant to Chinglish especially the manifestation of Chinglish, there are few scholars who clarify the main causes of Chinglish and the solution to it. Thus, the author firmly believes that it is meaningful to seek the source of Chinglish and make efforts to get rid of negative influence.
The paper would be divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction to the necessity and significance of the present paper. Part two is the literature review related to language and thinking mode, Chinglish and translation, including some concepts and previous studies at home and abroad. Part three aims at the analysis of different thinking modes of Chinese and westerners and their reflections on language. Part four and five are going to have thorough analysis on typical examples of Chinglish in C-E translation made by adult English learner in China, here mainly targeted at the English majors in SIT and the tactics to overcome these problems. Part six is the conclusion, which discusses the implication of the research with hopes to help those English learners to make improvement in their practice of translation.
