1 The source task
This design aimed at formaldehyde requiring us to design a reasonable process and choose the corresponding process equipments based on the study of professional basic course. Its purpose is to improve the ability of solving practical problem of the chemical products production workshop design ability and master the basic methods and procedures through chemical process design, material constant calculate, heat balance calculation,equipment selection and calculation . Through this course design, we can also improve the ability of using the design drawing of the computer.

3 Design principles and key design indicators
Principle:
(1) Safe and reliable: the design of many chemical substances are flammable, explosive or toxic. Therefore, the design must be taken into account of all sorts of obvious and potentially dangerous and used strict regulations of national and local health and safety to ensure little environmental pollution and the health of production personnel.

(4) easy to install: Plant layout should meet the requirements of the construction and installation, with emphasis to consider the installation of large equipment, factory and load road pavement construction and installation standards should meet the requirements.
