摘要：贵州铜仁，原铜仁地区行署所在地，2011年10月22日，国务院批准撤销铜仁地区设立地级铜仁市，现为铜仁市碧江区。她地处中国西南云贵高原最东部，俗称“黔东”，2005年被评为中国“西部名城”。铜仁市辖有江口县、石阡县、思南县、德江县、玉屏侗族自治县、印江土家族苗族自治县、沿河土家族自治县、松桃苗族自治县和新设立的碧江区（原县级铜仁市）、万山区（原万山特区）。 38603
铜仁境内主要居住有侗族、苗族、土家族、仡佬族和汉族等20多个民族，民族文化非常丰富和发达，最古老的民族文化有傩文化、花灯和文琴等。其中，傩文化是铜仁古老的文化遗产之一，它是一种十分古老的历史文化现象，虽历数千年而不衰，自有其特殊的意义和研究价值。
铜仁德江的傩文化，通过口口相传的方式，传承了几千年，有的学者甚至认为德江的傩堂戏是流传至今的活化石。傩堂戏不但神秘，而且在千年的演变中，由最初的祭祀演变成了舞蹈、音乐、傩绝技等独具特色的古老文化。在古代，傩堂戏成为了德江重要文化现象，人们通过傩戏来祈求平安，表演傩戏、傩舞来为人们带来欢乐。但神秘的傩文化被雪藏在古老的山区太久太久，随着科技的发展，傩文化也渐渐地被人们遗忘。很多人不了解傩文化，不知道这种古老文化。笔者深入当地调研有关傩文化和傩戏，还拜访了当地的老人，从他们口中，并且实地考察从文献资料和现实表演中认识到这神秘的“傩”。
