摘要银行并购作为现代银行业实现其增强自身实力、改善经营绩效、拓展经营范围等目标的重要手段，已被越来越多的银行运用到实践中。我国作为发展中国家，金融业发展时间较短，商业银行并购虽时有发生，但总体说来，我国商业银行并购的发展与国际领先银行相比还有一定差距。42294

本文分为四个部分，首先，本文回顾了关于商业银行并购绩效的文献，然后结合工商银行的并购活动对我国商业银行并购的现状进行了分析，接着，以中国工商银行并购南非标准银行为例，选取工商银行2006-2015年的财务数据，通过股权收益率模型对相关财务指标进行实证分析，结果发现，商业银行成功的并购可以提高绩效。但是通过对风险指标的分析可以看出，并购可能在短期内带来一定的风险。最后根据实证分析的结论对我国商业银行的并购提出了建议，希望能为我国商业银行并购提供帮助。

 Performance Analysis of Commercial Bank M&A——A Case Study of ICBC

Abstract

Bank mergers and acquisitions as a modern banking sector to enhance its strength，improve business performance, and expand business scope and other important means to an end, has been more and more practiced by commercial banks. As a developing country, the financial industry development time is short, although commercial bank mergers have occurred, but generally speaking, China's commercial banks M & A development with leading international banks still lags far behind.

This paper is pided into four parts. First, the paper reviews the literature on M & A performance of commercial banks, and then combined with M & A activity in the ICBC, commercial bank mergers were analyzed, and then, with a case study of ICBC mergers South Africa's Standard Bank, the financial data of ICBC from 2006 to 2015 were selected, empirical analysis by return on equity model related financial indicators, found that commercial banks can improve the performance of M&A success. But through the analysis of risk indicators we can see that mergers may bring some risks in the short term. Finally, according to the conclusions of the empirical analysis of China's commercial bank merger proposals, hoping to help China's commercial banks mergers and acquisitions.
