随着我国教育改革的不断深入和大力倡导提高学生综合素质，原先中小学生的教育工作围绕着高考指挥棒的情况得到了改观，且取得了一些成绩。但我们也必须看到，现在的青少年其综合素质培养，由过去应试教育所形成惯性尚未从根本上消除，虽然从表面上校方在对学生课业和课外作业进行“减员”，学生由此产生大量课余时间，对此社会、学校、家庭并没有一个好的活动方案和实施方法。使学生在大量的课余时间进行有针对性的提高身体素质，加之学生家长下班后与学校放学时间不尽吻合，造成学生离开学校后脱离学校监管，存在许多安全隐患。如何解决好这些问题，如何使学生综合素质落到实处，又如何挖掘社会潜力或利用社会资源为小学生提升综合素质提供服务。都是我们体育教育工作者需要研究的热点问题之一。为此，本文利用相关理论原理与方法，以杭州市余杭区临平为例，通过对该地区相关学校的学生调查，在分析的基础上，提出杭州市临平青少年篮球技能培训市场开发的思考。在丰富学生课余体育生活的基础上，增强体质，提高对篮球运动的兴趣，为临平青少年篮球技能培训市场的开发和有关部门的决策提供有益素材。
