Title Pattern Analysis and Synthesis of the Antennas Array
Abstract The research works are made with scientific projects. The design methods of the conical conformal array and the beam scanning of the array antennas used in special field are discussed in this dissertation. In the dissertation, the major works can be pided into three parts: the study of the conical conformal arrays with axial main beam , the beam scanning of the conical conformal arrays are proposed in the second part. The author’s major contributions are outlined as follow: 1. In the study of conical conformal arrays, in attempt to axially orient the main beam of the array, a projection principle is proposed to manage the polarization orientation of each element. Then, a 48-element and a 96-element conical conformal array is analyzed via HFSS to validate the efficiency of the proposed method. In addition. 2. Matlab procedures are used to achieve the beam scanning of the conical conformal arrays, and the method was verified by comparing with HFSS. Lastly, semi- fed optimization method are proposed and validated .
