Conclusion
Within the limitations of the study it was seen that as the diameter of the attachment increases there was a resultant increase in the magnitude of stress that is transferred to the cortical bone. The greatest stress concentrations were seen at the crest of the cortical bone in all the models irre¬spective of the loading conditions. It was also deduced that the small diameter attachment is the better attachments to be used for implant supported-overdenture in terms of minimizing the stresses to the bone.
