摘要不同的文化背景，孕育不同的思文方式和文化特征。语言是思文的物质形态,也是思文进化的主要工具。但是思文也决定语言，是语言的基础。两者是辩证统一的关系。本文通过举例对比中西方思文方式的差异，揭示差异在英汉互译中的影响，进而提出减少这些消极影响的对策，从而有利于我们全面地了解中西方文化，掌握翻译的精髓，克服翻译中的不足，更好地促进中西方文化的交流。毕业论文关键词：文化；思文方式；差异；翻译方法21908
Abstract
Different cultural backgrounds nurture dissimilar ways of thinking and cultural features. Language is the material form of thinking as well as the tool with which thinking evolves. But thinking determines language and is the base of language. There is a dialectical unity between them. This paper contrasts the differences between Chinese and Western thinking modes through giving examples, reveals the impact of these differences on translation and then puts forward some measures to decrease the passive impact. Thereby, it is helpful for us to comprehend Chinese and Western culture fully, to master the essence of translation, to overcome the defect in translation and to promote the better communication between Chinese and Western countries.

I. Introduction

Thinking mode, which has been formed for a long time, reflects in every field in our daily life. But thoughts, though accessible by various means, are best represented in language. Language is the embodiment of human thinking and human thinking in turn is the material form of language which is the basis of some analysis, judgment, generalization and reasoning. Language is closely related to and supported by human thoughts. That is to say, language has no basis for its existence if there is no thought. Besides, language as a system of arbitrary vocal symbols used for human communication has been defined as the most convincingly distinctive features of human beings from animal.
