This paper will conduct an analysis of the effect of meta-cognitive strategies through a questionnaire. According to the students’ options in the questionnaire, the author finds the problems about the use of meta-cognitive strategies and gives some advices on how to apply the meta-cognitive strategies efficiently. By the end of this paper, some personal solutions will be posed to give contribute to the English reading.
