摘要虹影是当代中国文坛中备受争议的女性作家,她的小说往往以独特的女性视角及华丽的言辞来表达女性对自身生存价值的追寻与认可,在作品中蕴藏着浓厚的女性意识。虹影的小说通常将女性置于一个独特的社会历史环境之中,借助历史与现实的差异,将自身代入浩瀚的历史长河之中,使文学作品与自我身份惊人的重合,以自身的意识与对社会的理解,塑造了女性生命意识权利的觉醒。本文拟以虹影书写女性成长的小说文本作为研究对象,以文本的分析为基点,论述虹影对于女性在成长中的生存境遇和主体性生成过程的深入思考。通过对于概念的厘清从而确定研究对象,探讨虹影的女性成长书写在她的写作中的定位。对虹影小说中女性成长的背景作了一个系统的梳理,试图探究虹影小说中女性成长背景的特殊性及其存在的模式。27616

Title Analysis on the Growth of Female in Hong Ying’s Works The Hungry Daughter as an Example
Abstract
As a female writer, Hong Ying is unique in current Chinese women’s literature. Her works are known for employing female perspective and rhetoric to explore the value of existence the females. In most of her works, she shows a strong sense of female consciousness. In Hong Ying’s works, females are usually allocated in a special social and historical environment. By comparing the past with the reality, the author throws herself into the vast history so that she is able to build a bridge between the literary works and self-identity. Furthermore, the author’s self-awareness and her knowledge of society also contribute a lot to awaken female consciousness of life and right. This paper tends to focus on Hong Ying’s works about female growth and starts with analyzing the text of The Hungry Daughter. It aims at studying Hong Ying’s ideas about women’s experience during their growth. The object of study can be determined by clarifying the concepts, that is, to define how the females in Hong Ying’s works grow. This paper will systematically analyze the background of the females in her works, to find the pattern of their growth.

1 Introduction
1.1 Hong Ying
Hong Ying was born in Chongqing on September 21, 1962, towards the end of the Great Leap Forward. She once received education from Lu Xun College of Liberal Arts in Beijing and Fudan University in Shanghai. In 1981, she started to write poems. And in 1988, she published her first novel. Later in 1991, she moved to the UK. Her most famous works included Summer of Betrayal, The Hungry Daughter and K, with which she earned the Roman Literature Prize in 2005. Now, Hong Ying is known as a world famous British Chinese writer and poet.
