Results of this study can be of great help to the corporation to improve their core competitive power and make profits. Statistics in 2013 showed that the total sales volume of cosmetics was 162.5 billion Yuan and increased by 13.3% compared with 2012. The sales volume of skin-care products increased at the fastest rate of 7.0%. What’s more, according to the statistics of the Jiangsu population in 2013, the sex ratio was balanced and was kept at the ratio of about 1:1 in all cities. The number of females in the whole province was 386646, among which were 30126 young females between the age of 20 and 24, who make up about 7.79% of the whole female population. Besides, 21914 young females received higher education in colleges and universities. They made up about 72.74% of the young females. Thus, young female college students are a large potential market for the corporations in the female skin-care product industry.
