I. Introduction
English has become the language of international communication, so English teaching has become an important subject. English writing is a very important link in English writing teaching, it’s an important symbol to measure the students’ English level. But English writing is also a weak link in English writing teaching, the marks of writing are so low that influenced the whole level of English in the exam.
The problem existed for a long time, there are several reasons for the situation, but the educators can’t find out the effective ways to improve the writing level, the findings of so many studies show researchers some factors which influenced the writing performance of learners. For example: vocabulary, grammar, influence of native language, types of writing and learning strategies. In these factors, learning strategies is regarded as the important one. In addition, the whole article is lack of guidance on the planning and monitoring, so the learners are in a state of confusion in writing. Scholars think that learning strategies should be applied to English writing of metacognition.
