2.1 The Definition of Love
Love have various definition among different people, such as “love is knowing you found the person that you ready to spent your life with; love is sacrifice, that you can do everything for someone you love; love is trust, that no matter under what kind of circumstances, you know the person that you love will never abandon you. Love exist in our world, and we can not separate that from us. We need love to make our world more harmonious and more beautiful. Even we are not pursuit love, love still can catch us and bring us warm.
The difficulty of fathoming the concept of love is aptly expressed John Shand (2011,4-5) when he says:
Love is so central to people’s lives that the capacity to think honestly about it may be an issue. Love is important to us because it is one of the fundamental ways that life acquires meaning. As one thinks about love, one will in all likelihood be considering something that impinges on one’s life in all-too pointed a manner. It may be hard to be “theoretical” about it. It should be acknowledged then that the degree of emotional honesty required in addressing the subject properly, even when the approach is philosophical, might be difficult to attain. Love is, in a sense, everyday, and yet often acute in its importance to us, it is hard to keep the personal out of love. 通过《傲慢与偏见》的角度分析中国女性婚姻观(2):http://www.751com.cn/yingyu/lunwen_49380.html
