Abstract With the development of society, many emotions may be changed. The pure emotion between mother and son may become deformative. This love can change to Oedipus Complex. No one can clearly make a comment on this love. But many scholars started studying this kind of emotion, including litterateurs. One of the famous writers is D.H. Lawrence. So the aim of this paper to explain the emotion, Oedipus Complex, from his outstanding work Sons and Lovers.48705

Oedipus Complex is the common problem people face now. Sigmund Freud concluded that Oedipus Complex is a complex emotion that the child (or adult) love and hate his parents. The expression of this emotion is the triangle interpersonal relationship. Today, many families only have one child. Family members, especially mothers, pay much attention to their children. They fear that their children may be harmed by others. So mothers protect her child by all means. This action may cause the Oedipus Complex. 

The paper can be concluded into several parts as follows: the first part is the concept of the Oedipus Complex, particularly the origin of the Oedipus Complex. The next part is to analyze the Oedipus Complex embodied in the D. H. Lawrence’ s famous book, Sons and Lovers, which is the obvious phenomenon in the whole novel. The next part is to analyze the causes of the Oedipus Complex in Sons and Lovers. The last part is to write some drawbacks of Oedipus Complex to our modern society. Besides, the paper calls on the proper love to their children, which is very important for  children’ s growth.

摘要随着社会的发展，许多感情发生了变化。母子之间纯洁的感情可能变得畸形。这种爱可能变成恋母抢劫。没有人可以清晰的评论这种爱。但许多学者开始研究这种情感，包括文学家。这其中最著名的就是戴维·赫伯特·劳伦斯。论文会从他最著名的一本书——《儿子与情人》来分析恋母情结。

恋母情结是人们现在面临的一个比较普通的问题。弗洛伊德总结道，“恋母情结是一种小孩(或成年人）爱或恨自己的父母的一种复杂的感情。这是一种三角人际关系的体现。如今，许多家庭只有一个孩子。家庭成员，尤其是母亲，太过关注他们的孩子。她们怕她们的孩子可能会被别人伤害。所以目前尽所有方法保护她们的孩子。这个举动就会引起恋母情结。

这篇论文可以分为如下几个部分：第一部分写了恋母情结的概念。这其中论文介绍了恋母情结的起源。下一部分论文写了《儿子与情人》中体现出的恋母情结，这个现象在整本小说中是显而易见的。然后，论文分析了《儿子与情人》中恋母情结产生的原因。最后一部分，论文写了恋母情结对当今社会的不利的影响。并且，论文呼吁了父母对孩子要是正确的爱，这对于孩子的成长是至关重要的。
