Humanistic education theory was originated in the 20th century American humanistic psychology. It is formed and developed during the process of criticizing of behaviorism and psychoanalysis, which is also known as the third power in psychology. The humanistic theory is represented by Maslow. It lays great emphasis on the affective factors. It holds that the process of learning itself should contain cognitive and emotional aspects. As for how to arouse pupils’ positive feelings, they put forward the following ideas: favorable relationship between teachers and students should be set; teachers need to communicate with students with sincere emotion; in the process of teaching, students should be exposed to a kind of free and relaxed atmosphere, because students under this atmosphere can achieve the best efficiency and develop their creativity (Hu Mei, 2007: 3).
