Abstract
Alice1 s Adventures in Wonderland broke from traditional children's literature, which was expected to be realistic, educational, and above all, moral. In most children's books before Alice, authors condescended toward their young readers and did not provide much opportunity for a child to use his or her imagination.
Growth is the center of the theme of the book. Alice's adventure is the journey from childhood to adulthood. It is Alice's challenge to grow into a powerful and compassionate person, although the biological role she met organisms of a symbol of the adult world. She has been learning the rules of every meeting, but at the end of the journey she must still keep the justice and development of their feelings.

1.1 Lewis Carroll and his’ works
Lewis Carroll was the pan name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. He was an English writer, logician, mathematician, Anglican deacon. He was born in Cheshire, on January 27, 1832, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking Glass (1872) was his magnum opus, and that book also distinguished as satire and as examples of verbal wit.
Carroll was born in the small parsonage at Daresbury in Cheshire near the towns of Warrington and Runcorn. He was the third child in his family, and he had two elder sisters, so he was the eldest boy in his family. After him, there were eight children followed. When Carroll was 11 years old, the whole family moved into spacious rectory in North Yorkshire.
