Abstract Charles·Dickens, the beginner of the criticism and realism literature in England. As his representative work, the publication of Oliver Twist has a great effect in England at different levels. The novel creates many characters who have different values, and describes the conflict between the kind people and evil people. Oliver Twist, a brave child, who lost his mother at the beginning of his birth, lived on his own at the bottom of the society, and was brave although he underwent many difficulties. The ambiguous Nancy had a similar experience as Oliver. However, she did not has the luck as Oliver, for she living up on stealing. At last, she conflicted with the bad guy to help Oliver and was dead. The crafty Fagin, taught children to make a steal by using their innocence, was arrested and condemned by hanging at last. This article will make a detailed analysis about their experience, values and different ends to show people the force of innocence. Darkness will not affect our soul forever, it’s the sense of value that has great importance to our life. No matter how difficult the life is, your dream can come true if you can hold on your belief.68979

摘  要查尔斯·狄更斯，英国批判现实zhuyi文学的创始人。作为狄更斯的第一部社会批判小说，《雾都孤儿》的发表在整个英国社会引起了强烈的轰动，涉及到英国社会各个阶层。作品带有浓厚的浪漫zhuyi情调，充满着人道zhuyi情怀。小说中人物形象众多，个性突出，文中生动地描绘了善与恶、美与丑、正义与邪恶的斗争。它是世界文学史上一部重要的社会小说。勇敢善良的奥利佛，从一出生便失去母亲，独自沦落在社会最底层饱经苦难，但坚守内心的那份纯净，在盗贼的威逼下不屈不挠；良知未泯的女贼南希，与奥利佛有着相似的生活经历却没有主人公那样的幸运和勇气。从小在贼窝长大，被坏人指使干起偷窃行当，却为了拯救奥利佛勇敢地与邪恶对抗，最终已死亡洗涤了罪恶；以及作恶多端的费金，用孩子的无知教唆他们行窃犯罪，采取利诱、威胁等等诸多手段试图将奥利佛拉上贼船。作为教唆犯罪的贼窝头目，最终被捕，处以绞刑。本文通过分析小说《雾都孤儿》中代表人物的人生轨迹与价值观及其截然不同的结局，让人们看到良知和纯真的伟大力量。黑暗与恶势力不能永远掌控人们的灵魂，价值观对我们的生活有着至关重要的作用，只要坚定信念，美好的未来就一定能实现。
