摘要随着电缆被广泛应用于通信系统、电力系统、交通系统等各领域,各行各业对电缆故障的检测与定位技术也提出了越来越高的要求。电缆故障主要包括硬性故障(短路故障和断路故障)和软性故障(磨损故障)。这些典型的故障是导致信号无法正常传输,系统无法正常运行的主要因素。因此,对电缆故障快速而准确的定位与检测是提高系统文护检测效率的重要内容。 本文是针对电缆硬性故障(开路和短路故障)提出的频域反射检测技术,研究并实现了一种快速,低廉且较为准确的电缆故障检测方法。本文采用频域反射技术的原理是通过给待测电缆发射一系列频率递增的入射信号,研究反射信号与入射信号之间的相位差来确定电缆故障的位置。文中采用 ADS进行电路的仿真设计以及对仿真结果进行分析,验证了频域反射技术原理的正确性;又通过搭建硬件系统的方法采集数据并进行数据的处理和分析,两种方法均验证了频域反射技术检测电缆故障的正确性与可行性,表明频域反射技术是能够快速准确定位电缆故障的检测技术。 28445

Title Detection and localization of cable faults based on frequency domain reflectometry
Abstract With the wide use of cables in various fields like communication systems, power systems and transportation systems, technology for cable fault detection and location requires to meet increasing demands. Generally speaking , two types of cable fault included are hard faults(short circuit and open circuit) and soft faults (frays, joints, and other small anomalies), which may cause disordered signal transmission and abnormal operation of system .Therefore, fast and accurate detection and localization of cable faults is an important part of improving the efficiency of system maintenance . This article proposed a technology based on frequency domain reflectometry that aims at hard faults (short circuit and open circuit), which implement a rapid, inexpensive and relatively accurate cable fault detection measurement. The FDR system sends a set of stepped frequency sine waves down the wire, where they are reflected from faults. The phase difference between incident signal and reflected signal should be tested to determine the location of cable faults. In this paper, the frequency domain reflectometry technique is verified by simulation and experiment .The last results show that it enables to locate cable fault quickly and accurately.
