摘要：郊区城市化是城市郊区乡村型社会地域组织向城市型社会地域组织演变的过程。通过对周口市郊区的城市化问题的解读,浅析出周口郊区城市化进程中存在着就业不到保障，郊区缺乏有效规划，社会保障种类单一等问题。找出造成当前问题的原因有土地征用和补偿制度不健全，对郊区城市化发展缺乏理性把握，建设资金不足等。针对目前的问题提出了科学定位政府角色，改革土地征用制度，建立就业培训制度等对策。从而找出适合周口市郊区城市化进展的道路。关键词：郊区城市化；中心城区；政府7850
