本文主要针对保险行业的投资时机和投资规模进行分析。那么近几十年时间里，保险行业有着显著而复杂的发展历程。本文针对国内外保险公司的管理模式和投资经验进行剖析，再者对比中国过去和现在保险行业发展存在的问题进行比较性研究。中国保险行业以每年约32%的增长速度成为我国国民经济中发展最为迅猛的产业之一。保险行业的快速发展不仅体现在保费的不断增多，还伴随着保险公司数量的不断攀升。但是未来保险行业面临的是机遇和竞争性挑战并存、涉及方面更广的新格局。针对这种局面，本文从当今国内外市场的背景、投资的渠道、投资的经验借鉴、投资能力和规模之间的相互关系、我国保险行业存在的问题等进行比较研究。其目的在于找出解决当前我国保险资金利用效率低的一些问题，对此提出个人的一点见解。
