2 Engineering Profile
The project is the Huayi Hotel in Ningbo where is hot in summer and cold in winter including catering, business, entertainment, accommodation. The building has 18 floors, and 1st~3rd floor has 3560 square meters area each , 5th~18th floor has 1167 square meters each.Total construction area is 28185 square meters. The first floor is 5.2 meters high, with shopping malls, lounge, lobby, information center, reception, church; the second floor is 4.5 meters tall, with Chinese food hall, rooms, cafe, galleries, restaurants, tea palace; the third floor is 4.5 meters tall, with large conference room, VIP lounge, lobby, small conference rooms, entertainment, fitness. The fifth to eighteenth floors are 3.6 meters high,with guest rooms.

4 Main Tasks of Design
The design is mainly based on the climate characteristics of Ningbo , and the design of summer cooling demand is preferred. Load calculation of air conditioning system in the area should be finished. According to the load of the room and the room function , combining with the building plan, comparingdifferent system plans, considering the various aspects of economic construction, and finally the fan coil plus fresh air independent system is selected. Then we should select and arrange the terminal equipments. The next step is air conditioning system, water system design, including the wind pipe, pipe line arrangement, the choice of the form of wind, etc.. The hydraulic calculation of the air system and water system ,the design of ventilation and smoke control should be started. At last, draw the design drawing and write the design specification.
5 Air Conditioning Wind System
Through research of the drawings, the basic air conditioning wind system is as follows: the design is for the hotel, mainly used for accommodation, and the room area is small, so we can give full play to the characteristics of the fan coil unit. People can automatically control and adjust the room temperature in each room, which does not affect the use of other rooms, and can reduce the operation cost, so we choose the fan coil plus fresh air system. First to third floor each set three fresh air units, pided into the left, middle and right partitions; fifth to eighteenth floors each set two fresh air units, pided into left and right partitions.
6 Air Conditioning Water System
The design of air conditioning water system of this project adopts two control, closed type, primary pump constant flow system, each layer of water pipe different course arrangement, the vertical tube with the process layout, the system is simple and the construction is convenient. In order to ensure the load change system can be effective, reliable and energy saving operation, set three sets of frozen water pump, one of which is a spare water pump. Chilled water welded steel pipe, condensation pipe using galvanized steel pipe, pipe insulation before the brush two rust primer.
