Abstract Scientific education as an important part of school education, has always been the Social focus. However due to the restrictions of politics, economy, culture, and concept, the scientific education in China shows many differences with other Countries. Education is a lighthouse, it can make next generation to develop in moral, intellectual, as well as physical then to help them grow healthy. Science is the most important productivity. The development of the Nation, needs education to gorw with science.
With people are more and more clear and comprehensive understanding of science, knowledge of scientific is becoming more and more deep. The trend of the development is to have more and more science education.Overall, the goal of science and education and the development of science education is consistent.From the initial focus on knowledge, skills, methods and procedures, the new focus is on science, technology, social relations, and mastering nature of science.The target of Science education is in a transformation, which is constantly looking for balance and the fusion.The balance and integration reflected in contemporary is put forward and the development of the concept of "scientific literacy", also performed in the new standard in our country about scientific knowledge and skills, scientific method and process, emotions, attitudes and values of comprehensive science education goal.

科学教又称STS教育,是Science(科学)、Technology(技术)Society(社会)的简写,起源是美国。
科学教育是一门研究科学、技术和社会相互关系的新学科,科学教育作为学校教育的重要内容,一直是人们关注的焦点。但由于政治、经济、文化、理念等的限制,我国的科学教育现状与外国的相比有着许多不同之处。可从科学教育的现状分析入手,从教学内容和教学形式、教学策略、科学实验、科学教育的现实借鉴四个方面分析了中外科学教育现状存在的差异。从中可以分析,我国的科学教育有其自身的优点,但为了能够更好地适应我国发展的脚步,我国的科学教育还有许多需要改进的方面,就要借鉴国外科学教育的成功经验。
