建议各普通高校不要把重心都放到招收特长生为了学校体育成绩，要多放在培养他们文化素质上；完善大学体育的竞赛机制，向市场化和社会化方向改革；解决“学训矛盾”，开展“体教结合”；解决比赛训练经费问题，寻求企业赞助；对特长生就业负责，安排就业指导，向社会推荐他们。确保每一名体育特长生能够发挥自身特长并解决就业问题，实现人生价值。
