摘 要本文有感于随着普通话的推广普及，以及在九年制义务教育中对于使用普通话的提倡，越来越多的地方性语言在这一大趋势下丧失了语言活力和表现力这一现状。这一方面带来的是一种地方历史和文化传承的阻滞甚至断裂，因为语言作为一种古老的文化保存和传承形式，其在漫长的历史长河中充任的角色的重要性不言而喻。在我们的世界历史图景中，多少族群和部落是伴随着本族语言的消长而盛衰。另一方面，地方性语言在我们的日常交往中，还往往意着一种身份的昭示与强烈的感情色彩。不论远隔家乡千里万里或是十年八载，但是“乡音无改”，那一份割不断的家乡情就能涌上心头，弥合所有割裂与空白。34106
    因此，本文以家乡方言——淮安方言作为研究和表现对象，进行历史脉络的梳理和当下使用现状的调查分析，意图通过对其中具有充分地方特色的方言词汇的创意设计，以充满童真、淳朴、幽默的表现手段，将淮安方言生动形象的进行呈现。
    我们当然提倡并且应当身体力行宣传推广普通话作为我们的通行语言，这不论是从促进民族融合增强民族凝聚力、更好地繁荣祖国文化，还是从增进世界对中国的了解、向世界推广中华文化，都是一件无量好事。但与此同时，保持方言的活力，一方面是对地方历史文化与风情民俗的传承与守护，另一反面也能不断地丰富普通话的词汇与表现力。百川奔流终到海。这都将有利于促进我们的交流提升到一个新的高度。
