Abstract
Wuthering Heights is a tragic love story. The author spares no efforts to mold Heathcliff’s and Catherine’s images of characters. The plot structure of the novel is in accordance with Heathcliff’s and Catherine’s love, hate, revenge and the recovery and expansion of humanity. Wuthering Heights is the only novel of the British writer, Emily Bronte. In this novel, the author tells the reader the love-themed revenge story about Heathcliff and Catherine. Both in terms of the thematic structure and the idea of art, this novel has shown extraordinary originality. Fiction exhibited a strong romanticism by the description of the real reaction in real life. The whole article is full of strong anti-oppression, seeking spiritual freedom, and always shrouded in bizarre, intense, romantic and artistic atmosphere. Even today it is still glowing with its youthful charm, what a unique atmosphere does it have that attracts readers to frenzy? It is the intertwined hymn of Heathcliff’s and Catherine’s love and hate; it is the sick revenge roared with pain; it is the author who describes a deep understanding of the wilderness. This novel explored a new contemporary narrative style which is creating a new situation.

An Analysis on the Theme of Wuthering Heights
I. Introduction
Wuthering Heights is a novel by Emily Bronte, written between October 1845 and June 1846[1], and was published in 1847 under the pseudonym of Ellis Bell. The novel depicts a story in the Rolling Hills in northern England, where there is a small secluded Wuthering Heights. Earnshaw, the owner of Wuthering Heights, adopted an outcast one day from the streets and named him Heathcliff. He let him live with his son and daughter Catherine Hindley. From morning to evening, Heathcliff and Catherine usually stayed together. As a result, they soon fell in love. However, Hindley is an abomination to him. After old Earnshaw's death, Hindley became the host, besides prohibiting contact between Catherine and Heathcliff; he even took all ways to abuse and insult Heathcliff. That intensified Heathcliff’s hatred for him, but also deepened his love for Catherine. One day, Heathcliff and Catherine went out, and recognized the neighboring small Thrush Grange’s Master Edgar Linton. This seemingly gentle and rich kid fell in love with Catherine, and proposed to her. Naive Catherine agreed to marry Linton, taking advantage of his family's wealth to help her brother escape persecution of Heathcliff.
