Abstract
With the increasing pressure from Gaokao (the National College Entrance Examination) among senior high school students, the phenomenon of inpidual tutoring has been a popular trend in a lot of Chinese families. Parents do not want their children to be left behind on the starting line, and the students do not want to be laggars, so they resort to private tutors for help. However, different students have different personalities, belonging to different psychological types and cognitive styles. Tutors are also pided into different sorts. So for different kinds of high school students, what kind of tutor is the suitable choice for them? The author is going to make an analysis of this problem from the aspect of educational psychology. The purpose of this paper is to analyze high school students’ psychological process and condition in their English learning and thus discussing the influences that private tutors may have on their English learning and giving parents some suggestions on their choice of private tutors for their children.
The paper falls into five parts. The first part is the introduction; the second part is literature review; the third part is analysis of different students from the perspectives of educational psychology; the fourth part is the analysis of the phenomenon of private tutoring and the last part is the conclusion.

摘要因为高考竞争压力大的关系,给高中生请家教的现象越来越普遍。父母不希望孩子输在起跑线上,学生也不希望自己落后于别的同学,家教成为他们求助的对象。然而,不同的学生有不同的性格特点、心理类型和认知风格;家教教师也有不同类型。那么,对于不同类型的学生,什么样的家教老师才最适合?本文将从教学心理学的角度来探讨该问题。通过分析高中生学习英语的心理过程和心理状态,探讨家教对高中生英语学习的影响,以就应该选择怎样的家教形式来辅导学生并培养他们学习英语的积极性为广大家长提供参考意见。
本毕业论文共分为五个部分。第一部分是前言;第二部分是文献综述;第三部分是从教育心理学 角度分析不同的学生;第四部分是家教现象的分析;最后一部分是总结。
