Prototype theory is one of the core theory of cognitive semantics. Cognitive linguists believe: the prototype with varying degrees of typicality. Cognitive linguistics not only study a single category, but also to explain the relationship between synonyms projection between different areas, which involves the metaphor and metonymy. Metaphor is projected from the source domain to the target domain. This projection is the result of experience and understanding. The same as the metaphor, metonymy is based on the basic experience of the people, and its essence is conceptual, is spontaneous, unconscious cognitive processes. Metaphor is projected between different cognitive domains, unlike metaphor, metonymy is in similar or different cognitive domains associated with a prominent thing instead of another thing.
