Abstract Translation has played a very important role in the several -thousand -year history of the Chinese Culture. Recently, more and more zero translation words are used in people’s daily life. This paper takes a dialectical view to analyze the impact of zero translation upon our culture, including the promotion of the communication between perse cultures and the cultural colonization, and proposes that we should rationally treat both the advantages and disadvantages that zero translation brings to our culture, thus absorbing what is good and rejecting what is bad.60058
