Abstract ：Under the rapid economic development and the development of the housing industry in China in recent years, people pursue the high requirement of personalized residential, spawned a new direction - soft decoration. Today, indoor soft decoration become important means of decoration in modern family life, and also become the main direction of the field of interior decoration while is the developed and popular trend of decoration in China. However, the soft decorative design saves time and effort and spends less, and we can do and design by ourselves, so young people love to use this it. People can recombine handicrafts, textiles, collectibles, lamps, floral, plants, and so on in order to create new design ideas to satisfy the pursuit of material and spiritual.
Although soft decoration is still a relatively new industry, but it has a huge market potential in this industry, and the prospect is very broad, it must become the mainstream and the core of interior design in the future development. Soft decoration design not only has broad prospects for development, and its development is also showing several aspects of the trends and characteristics: First, the mechanism of commercial operation matures.
