Summary The packaging and decorating design of toys should be studied from the understanding of the characteristics of goods and the psychological needs of children's consumer groups. According to the theme and charac-teristics of toys, the design ought to be taken into account the factors of all aspects so that it could be humanized, personalized and serial. In the pro-cess of design, We should also consider the issue of environmental protec-tion fully so as to the packages are both popular and have a "green" effect to the consumers. The development of the times has put forward higher re-quirements to the designers: To break through the pattern of the foreign design, we should have our own characteristics of the packaging design for our own toy product design market.
In order to refresh people's impression of Chinese traditional puzzle toys, I will choose relatively high color saturation and brightness. The design focuses on graphic design. I choose the geometric figure of the toy parts as the element to create a lively atmosphere thus the charm and flexibility of the toys are showed out. I opt the pulling structure as the packaging can in-teract with consumers. So that the consumers can experience the pleasure and surprise from the toy itself.
