1 Introduction
As the Ministry of Education had rigidly implemented the normalized management of teaching and the standardized construction of teacher's ethics, teaching violence in school can hardly been seen.Nevertheless, the silent violence gradually performs itself in all kinds of forms, such as ignoring, isolating, threatening and so on. Compared with physical violence, silent violence in school is more concealed, since no extrinsic harm is done. However, the harms silent violence does to students are far more fundamental and profound than physical maltreatment, which even can have a life-long influence on students’ building up of personality. Moreover, silent violence is definitely against the China’s idea of establishing a harmonious society, since a harmonious school yard is an crucial part. Therefore, silent violence in school should never been neglected.Teachers, parents, students and all concerned parties should never let down guard against silent violence in teaching.
Many experts have done researches on silent violence from various aspects, including how it happens, develops and effects students. They criticize teachers for their silent cruelty, accuse them of mercilessness, and in the meantime, feel sympathy for their unloaded work pressure and work out ways to help them avoid silent violence in teaching, which are quite beneficial for teachers.
However, with the the mobile phone age further presents itself, it should also be noticed that teachers are not only the perpetrators of silent violence, but they themselves have fallen victim to it,which is especially true for university teachers.Hence, silent violence in teaching embodies new messages in the mobile phone age.
