摘要我国现代家具具备当今国际式的通用家具特征，它满足了人们对现代快节奏和淘汰更新的需要，其实用性自不必说。强调可供观赏与陈设的现代家具，其线条和形态简洁、材料另类，色彩鲜艳，具有装置家具特征。它们在环境中能很快成为谈论的中心。它的作用不仅是使用，而且也是一种表达，类似与装置艺术，如绘画或雕塑作品一样，这种家具很适合作为空间中非使用性的家具陈设物。有效的陈设家具包括：茶几、装饰条案箱柜（边柜）、椅凳坐具。

论文试着设计融合我国民族文化遗产中的阴阳八卦图，太极、道教文化的阴阳——座椅、茶几与边柜，希望我设计阴阳——座椅、茶几与边柜，即能表现道教文化的特点，又能体现使用价值和观赏意义的陈设家具。8513
道教文化极其高雅,极其通俗。成为人民群众精神生活的组成部分。《道德经》中讲到“万物负阴而抱阳，冲气以为和”。这句话揭示了道教对于“和”的阐述和理解。“和”，是中国人几千年来一直追求的生活境界，“家和万事兴”，既说明了家在中国人心目中的地位，也说明“和”，对于家庭具有重要的价值和意义。
