This group of research mainly deal with the similarities and differences of the two characters’ personalities, focusing on their valuable spirit of rebellion against conventional forces. The authors also think that the important factors leading to different love results is the rational degree of women's pursuit of independence and equality. And Dong Liping's‘Exploration on Different Fates of Jane Eyre and Lin Daiyu’(2008)pointed out that Jane Eyre and Lin Daiyu serve as the good image of women who deserve praise.
