摘 要作为二十一世纪的朝阳产业,旅游业当之无愧在经济中占有重要地位。以后将会有更多外国游客来中国参观﹑访问和游览。因此,汉语旅游景点文本的翻译成为人们关注的焦点。本论文以顺应论为理论框架,对汉语旅游文本的翻译进行探讨。通过对原文和译文各层面的比较,应用语言语境和交际语境说明汉语旅游文本翻译是如何运用顺应论从而更好地达到交流的目的,同时提出了相应的翻译策略。本研究旨在使旅游文本的英译能达到最佳的宣传和交际效果,对旅游文本翻译的译者提供借鉴并以此提高译文的可接受性。最终能够进一步提高汉语旅游文本翻译的质量,从而促进中国旅游业的进一步发展。36966

Abstract As a thriving industry in the 21st century, tourism absolutely occupies an important position. There will be more foreign tourists coming to China for touring and outseeing. Therefore, the translation of Chinese tourist text becomes the focus of attention. This paper applies adaptation theory as the theoretical framework to studying the translation of Chinese tourist text. Comparing the original text with the target text, the author analyzes that the adaptation theory is used to explore the tourist text based on the linguistic contest and communicative contest and then puts forward corresponding translation strategies. It aims to make tourist text translation achieves the best publicity and communication effect. The findings of the study provide a new perspective of studying Chinese tourist text translation and provide reference to translators and then improve the acceptability of the translation of Chinese tourist text. Eventually, it will improve the quality of the translation of Chinese tourist text, and thus further promote the development of Chinese tourism industry.

I.    Introduction

Tourism plays an irreplaceable role in national economy, national income, etc. With the growing spiritual needs, China tourism acquires irreplaceable status and wide development space. First of all, tourist is much more important than ever before in China. Secondly, tourism is a kind of important means to attract investment.
With the rapid development of international tourism, good translation of tourist text is urgently needed to provide high quality tourism information and attract more foreign tourists to travel to China. However, the present situation is that many of the English versions of Chinese tourist texts are not acceptable or even worse and may leave tourism industry a negative impact. Therefore, the translation of Chinese tourist text is worth further research and study. How to improve the translation quality of tourist texts is a pressing task. The translation of Chinese tourist text is a topic of concern to many linguists and translators.
