    This design topic I choose: an annual output of 100000 tons of tar processing plant
    preliminary design. With the continuous development and progress of science and
    technology, more and more energy development and utilization, and the coal tar is
    also likely to become more and more important in the future. So it is of great
    significance and research for coal tar. Coal tar is a complex mixture of components of
    tens of thousands of species, single compounds have been isolated and identified
    about 500 species, accounting for about 55% of the total amount of coal tar, benzene,
    xylene, naphthalene, including 174 kinds of neutral component; phenol, cresol and
    other 63 kinds of acidic components and 113 kinds of alkaline component. Coal tar
    processing using created the modern history of organic chemical industry. Today in
    the rapid development of petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry occupies an
    important position,still has an irreplaceable role in providing polycyclic aromatic
    hydrocarbons and carbon content of high material.
    Coal tar processing is mainly traditional separation of coal tar distillation
    system,first used for processing and further separation, and then mainly from two
    naphthalene and anthracene content in the coal tar component. After a period of
    development, the coal tar processing to improve the scale (more than 300000 t/a),
    appeared in a tube furnace continuous tar distillation technology development success
    of the historic moment of coal tar processing as a precursor of modern organic
    chemistry industry, has been 100 years of history.Although the past 30 years by the
    fierce competition of petrochemical industry,coal tar processing not only lose the
    value of its existence, but still potential for development, has the important status in
    the economy.
    Although the coal resources in China, but with the strength of mining has increased
    year by year, has reduced coal reserves. How to further improve the utilization value
    of coal, coke and coal deep processing, in the process of coal tar coke production
    about 4% worth further study, especially in recent years, rising oil prices, the value is
    reflected in the more and more coal tar chemical products,many domestic coking
    plant, coal mining enterprises should be how to play the added value of coal tar
    processing products. In recent years, with the China steel industry, in the development
    of metallurgical industry and coal chemical industry,for coal tar processing industry in
    China brought good opportunity hitherto unknown. We should seize this rare
    opportunity, calendar continued growth in domestic coal tar based on resources, makefull use of and guide enterprises to develop coal tar processing scale, continuously
    improve the technology content of products, with the rapid development of fine
    chemical industry in the direction of firm.
    In addition, I think that the coal tar distillation technology can also according to the
    variety of products to choose, should strive to develop new technology of high
    efficiency and low cost, so that the automatic control level of analysis, test, energy
    saving and environmental protection and other aspects of the improvement.
