Integral impeller production of conventional method after casting light repair, but with the development of design theory, integral impeller parts work surface shape is more complex, the mold manufacturing difficulty is relatively large, complex process, high cost, difficult to ensure the accuracy of the blade, and the blade of poor surface finish, easily lead to stress concentrated, resulting in cavitation, the dynamic balance of the impeller performance is poor.
    Five coordinate numerical control technology is the biggest difficulty in NC technology, the most widely used technique. High efficiency, precision, automation in the process of machining complex curved surface, five axis machining with three axis machining is the incomparable advantage. Is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
    1) five coordinate machining can effectively avoid tool interference, complex parts processing of three axis machine tools to processing;
    2) for ruled surface machining, five axis machining can adopt side milling way knife molding, machining quality and high efficiency;
    3) five coordinate machining can be realized in one clamping, multi processing process, to ensure product accuracy;
    4) five coordinate machining tool relative to the workpiece has good cutting state;
    5) for processing space by channel processing and composite surface transition region processing constraints, five axis machining can choose the larger size to avoid interference processing tool, tool rigidity.
    Therefore, five axis machining technology has been one of the research hotspots in the field of CNC machining of the scholars at home and abroad. Also, it has been the western countries on China's technical blockade. Because many advanced weapons manufacturing, such as key parts of aircraft, missiles, tanks, processing all cannot do without high performance CNC machine tool. Five coordinate programming technology is one of the key problems of five coordinate machining technology.
