摘 要三文治教学法是一种以母语夹着外语的方式通过讲故事教外语的方法,使儿童在听故事过程中学习外语。过去二十年中关于三文治教学法的研究大多着重于论述它的意义。本研究将三文治教学法与小学英语教学相结合,从而激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生更有效地学习英语,并通过详细描述三文治教学法在小学英语教学中的运用,揭示出三文治教学法对小学英语教学的影响。因此,本文能使人们更好地了解和运用三文治教学法,从而推动三文治教学法在小学英语的应用。24936

Abstract Sandwich teaching method is a way which mixes the native language in the teaching of a foreign language and imparts the knowledge through storytelling method so that the children can learn the foreign language during the process of listening the stories.The dozens of studies on sandwich teaching method over the past 20 years have mostly focused on its meaning. This research combines sandwich teaching method with the primary school English teaching to stimulate students’ interest in English, so that students can learn English more effectively. It also reveals the influence of the sandwich teaching method in primary school English teaching by describing how to apply the sandwich teaching method in primary school English teaching. Therefore, this study allows people to better understand and apply the sandwich teaching method, thereby promotes sandwich teaching method widely used in primary school English teaching.

I. Introduction
From the year of 2001, English has become a required lesson in primary schools, which is also a critical period for the students to prepare for their further study. However, due to various reasons, there are still a lot of problems in our county’s English teaching at the stage of elementary education. In order to solve these problems, teachers should stimulate students’ interest in learning English and enhance the efficiency of students’ English learning at the stage of elementary education. In addition, many methods have been proposed and gradually applied in English class.
This study will discuss the sandwich teaching method as well as its application and influence. This method is proposed by Ji Yuhua, a famous English educator at Xiamen University. At present, the domestic study of the sandwich teaching method mainly focuses on several aspects: the application of the sandwich teaching method in teaching, especially in primary school and how to apply the sandwich teaching method in other aspects and so on. The method is an effective way to motivate students to study and cultivate their interests in learning English.
