    The Total Explaining of Design
    This is an actual topic of alteration to the existing unit of BAO STEEL PIPE  CO.,LTD. According to existing equipments of φ114 hot rolling ,by reconstructing punch and roller and then here are the output and spec: pipe flan: Φ100-Φ150mm, product: Φ76-108×4.5-20mm, Annual output: fifteen thousand tons.  In the design process,following by the princip of :leconsummating technics,on the basis of equipment and technology, encircling product development, adjusting product structure, expanding product scopes, enhancing the output, pledging the quality  of products, and make a transformation to the existing unit to solve the un-matching of equipment craft parameter, shortage of yield and so on insufficiencies and at the same time it should be considered to reduce the cost of transformation, so it is maked the suitable improvement on the existing equipment, but the Accu-Roll unit is unable to apply so we replace the Accu-Roll by the PQF roll which is more advanced current.
    The technical process of hot rolling production is: material→pickling and examination→perforation→rolling→heating →micro tension reducer→cooling→exact settling.
    Various equipment parameter in the design and the plane arrangement and so on are completed according to following technological requirement:
    Preparation for tube billet
    Heating by ring furnace
    Perforation by two-high helical rolling mill
    PQF rolling
    The unit is composed by six racks, which is composed by three rollers and the core rod , after the perforation pipe is three processes: reduced the diameter and the wall and average wall and when it extend even more it’s precision increase more.
    Heat again and scale by high-pressured water
    Micro tension reducer
    Among them, the transformation of PQF rolling is based on existing Accu-Roll rolling ,because the equipment’s parameter adjustment of Accu-Roll pipe rolling is unable with these existing equipments, this kind of question involved the distortion system, the speed system, the roller system and so on various equipment parameter adjustment as well as the reasonable use of location, which created the Accu-Roll pipe rolling to be unable to use, it caused in the actual production to jump over rolls over the pipe link, the product’s size precision can not be ensured, the variety is unitary, the product specs were unable to adjust according to the market demand ,which has wasted the location and the equipment resources.
    In the design process, I replaced the Accu-Roll pipe rolling by the PQF pipe rolling which is more advanced current, compared to other tube rolling, PQF pipe rolling is more stable when it is working. It eliminated the hiatus and pulls basically, the spare core rod reduces obviously, the roll force displays well, the rolling steel pipe’s wall thickness precision and the scope as well as the production become higher obviously, it might solve the existing question in the company effectively, and there are the special superiorities in the high grade of steel and the alloy content high drive pipe, the high-pressured boiler pipe and the austenite stainless steel pipe and so on in the difficult-rolling production and this is also conformed to the request of company to enhance the scope of products and to improve the quality of products as well as improve the mart competitive, simultaneously the arrangement of PQF continually pipe rolling is compact and it’s control system is advanced and quality on online supervisory system necessary is complete,it reflected the pipe rolling technological design and the most recent development level and the manufacture might enhance the unit’s efficiency.
    According to above technological requirements as well as product variety and output request, first I made the investigation and study about the company’s equipment and the workshop’s situation as well as the market demand and determined the plan of product in the design process. In the design I has chosen the 25# steel whose product’s specification is 80×10, 20# steel whose product’s specification is 90×7.5, the 15# steel whose product’s specification is 100×5 , they may include all products, the main working procedure craft parameter was determined and the craft parameter computation, mold design and the tolls for the equipment were figured out. The computation to the working procedure productivity balance was carried out and the workshop collecting related materials and sizes was confirmed. The appraisal to the economic efficiency and plotted were worked out. It’s aim mainly to design the card punch and rollers. The card punch and other existing equipments have been made few adjustments and I obtained the technological requirement through the computed result. I have also made certain modification to the workshop arrangement situation in the design and made the full use of existing table and the basic layout to hoped that it could use the existing location resources more reasonably and reduced the energy consumption in the production and reduced the production cost.
