Abstract
Pedestrian behavior characteristics is an essential part of the foundation and pedestrian simulation model. This collection Xinjiekou Station and Nanjing South Station pedestrian traffic characteristic data in the horizontal channel and stairs , in terms of inpidual and group characteristics were studied microscopic and macroscopic characteristics of pedestrians , made a corresponding analysis .

Pedestrian macroscopic characteristics , analyzes the static and dynamic hub of pedestrian space requirements for data collection for pedestrian traffic flow on the macroscopic properties of different facilities to select the best fitting curve equation extent , simply explore the pedestrian delays , analytical how and why it delays occur .
