摘要交通信号灯传统的控制方法:定周期控制法和各路口独立控制法。在社会飞速发展的今天,这两种控制模式已经无法满足人们对交通的需求,要想在当前的交通发展条件下,提高交通的控制效率和管理水平,使当前的交通设施能够得到合理地使用,充分显现它的优势所在,更加全面有效地提高城市中道路使用率,建立一个先进、可靠、便捷的交通灯自动控制系统是社会发展和人类进步的必然要求。39772
本文在对传统交通信号灯控制系统分析的基础上,设计出了基于AT89C51单片机的交通信号灯自动控制系统。该系统除了具备传统的交通灯控制功能外,还增加了夜间模式,特殊车辆优先通行,显示时间可调整功能。利用LED灯表示红绿黄灯,数码管显示倒计时,按键进行手动调整控制,大大增强了交通灯控制系统的稳定性和灵活性。

Abstract The traditional traffic signal control method has two ways , one is the respectively fixed cycle control and the other is the independent control of each intersection. With the rapid development of society nowadays, the present two models can not meet people’s requirement of traffic. Under the present condition of traffic development, to improve the efficiency of control and the level of management, to make the present traffic facilities be full used reasonably, which shows its advantages fully, to improve the road usage more efficiently in all round, to set up a modern, reliable and convenient traffic light automation control system are the necessary requirement of social development and mankind improvement.
The article is based on the analysis of the traditional traffic signal control system, designed the automatic control system of traffic lights depended on AT89C51 single chip microcomputer , the system not only has the function of traditional traffic light control, but also has the night mode, special vehicles passing in the priority, the function of displayed time adjustment. Using LED lights as the red, green, yellow lights, the digital tube lights display countdown time , using keys as manual adjustment and control, which greatly enhance the stability and flexibility of the traffic light control system.
