    2.2 Well-bounded Interpersonal Relationship
An interpersonal relationship is an association between two or more people that may range from fleeting to enduring which may be based on inference, love, solidarity, regular business interactions, or some other type of social commitment. Interpersonal relationships are formed in the context of social, cultural and other influences. The context can vary from family or kinship relations, friendship, and marriage, relations with associates, work, clubs, neighborhoods, and places of worship. They may be regulated by law, custom, or mutual agreement, and are the basis of social groups and society as a whole. People in a relationship tend to influence each other, share their thoughts and feelings, and engage in activities together. Because some level of interdependence, most things that change or impact one member of the relationship will have some level of impact on the other member.

The capacity for love gives depth to human relationships, brings people closer to each other physically and emotionally, and makes people think expansively about themselves and the world. In his triangular theory of love, psychologist Robert Sternberg theorizes that love is a mix of three components: some passion, intimacy and commitment. In the love among Kate, Joe and Terry, at first stage, passion is the dominant role between Joe and Kate; at last, it is commitment to make them decide to live together. Like what Terry says to Kate in the hotel, which attracts Kate immediately,

“Love is a wish that hides in your heart and nobody knows but you. Love is blinding, an eternity in a single monument, and a religion worth dying for. And it’s also time-consuming.”

Friendship is a relationship between friends, a friendly feeling or attitude. Friends care for one another and look out for each other. For a deep understanding to occur between friends, they must open up about personal things, listen carefully, and be loyal to one another. The conventional wisdom is that good friendships enhance an inpidual's sense of happiness and overall well-being. Joe and Terry are good partners during robbing banks, one to rob bank, the other to control the hostage. When in life, they also talk about their problems and speak out how they feel to each other.

Strangers are also important in interpersonal relationships and sometime it is the stranger that who helps you out of the trouble, listen to your misery and share your happiness. Relationship with strangers lasts very short time and what they would do to you depends on what you have done to them. To be nice to even the strangers can give people convenient in daily life. Joe and Terry always behave like gentlemen not only in their daily life but also when kidnapping the bank manager family. Therefore, those people don’t have malice to them, too.

    2.3 Strong Spiritual Pursuit
Like we said before, everyone has a dream no matter how small it is. When in little ages, people will want to be scientists, solders or heal the world in the future. As they grow old, dreams become more practical, like earning a lot of money, travelling around the world, or even smaller, losing some weight in next year. If money is the outside support for human to live in this world, dreams or specific—spiritual pursuit is their inner support. It includes religious beliefs, dreams, and identification from others and so on. These inner supports push people to try their best to be closer to the ideal world in their minds. They overcome all the difficulties in the way, try again and again until success, and rebel when encountering unfair. During this process, people are realizing their value in the society, proving their existences to the world, and constantly fulfilling their life. Like in the movie, Kate’s spiritual pursue is to experience life which is violent and exciting, not a housewife life style which is meaningless and boring. She leaves home and once sees the bandits don’t want to go. Her dream is to live freely and passionately and finally she wants to sing in Joe and Terry’s nightclub.
