Research on Effectiveness of English Homework Design at Junior High School Level
Abstract With the development of curriculum reform of basic Education, English teaching pays more attention on cultivating students' integrative use of language. As an essential part in the junior high school English learning, homework design is as important as the classroom teaching. However, based on previous studies abroad and at home, we find that no matter in the teaching research or teaching practice, teachers always pay special attention to English classroom teaching, and ignore the homework design, even today when everybody advocates effective teaching, very few people care about whether the homework is effective. In response to this problem, this paper uses the methods of literature and questionnaire to investigate 100 eighth-grade students and 6 teachers from Fuyang Yu DaFu Middle School, and then through analyzing and combining with related theories concludes that the effectiveness English homework design should satisfy the needs of different students, enrich the form of homework and arouse students’ learning interests, etc.

初中阶段英语作业有效性设计研究摘要随着基础教育课程改革的深入进行,英语课程的培养目标更着重于培养学生的综合语言应用能力。作为初中英语学习必不可少的组成部分,英语家庭作业设计与英语课堂教学有着同等地位。然而,根据之前许多国内外的研究发现无论是在教学研究中还是教学实践中\751|文'论"文:网www.751com.cn,教师都特别重视英语课堂教学,而忽视了课外作业,即使是在这个高喊“有效教学”的今天,人们也只是把目光瞄准了课堂,而对课外作业是否有效则很少有人关心。针对这一问题,本文采取文献分析法及问卷调查法对富阳郁达夫中学100名八年级学生及6为老师进行调查。然后通过相关理论分析得出有效的英语作业设计应满足不同学生的需求,丰富作业形式并能提高学生的学习兴趣等。
