    摘要当今的中国,英语变得越来越重要。作为四项基本技能之一的写作,更是不容小觑。但在中学,学生的英文写作出现很多问题,比如:学生不知如何下笔,句子结构单一且中国式思维,语法错误等等。此外,中学英语写作教学也面临着困境。笔者阅读了大量前人发表的论文并参考了前面做过的调查研究,了解到中学生英语写作现状以及影响写作的因素都有哪些。本篇论文从母语的迁移,中西思维差异,文化差异等一些非语言因素方面来分析影响中学生英语写作的因素,分别从字词句篇的角度来细致地剖析这些因素是怎么影响中学生的写作能力的,并试图针对性地给出一些有效的建议。希望本文能对中学的英语写作教与学提供一定的参考价值。49940

    Abstract Nowadays, English becomes more and more important in China. The writing, as one of the four basic skills, gets emphasized greatly. But English-writing, whether teaching or learning, is faced with problems and trouble in middle school such as students have no idea about how to organize an essay; single sentence pattern; Chinglish; grammar error and so on. The author learns the current situation and the effect factors of English-writing through previous thesis and researches. The paper analyzes some influencing factors on English-writing from these aspects of language transfer of mother tongue, differences between thinking pattern and some non-language factors. Also, they are specifically presented in word, sentence and discourse. Then the author tries to come up with some suggestions in hope that the thesis could have a contribution to writing teaching and learning in middle school.

    An Analysis of the Factors Influencing English Writing Ability in Middle School

    Ⅰ. Introduction 

    Writing is to record information and express intention by consciously using language and words, which record the social activities specifically and purposefully and which is to meet the demand of social activities and studying social knowledge. On the surface, writing is seen as an activity of conveying ideas and feelings or communicating with others; in the deep, writing is also a kind form and way of life(Ma Zhengping 51). Writing is a complex and creative brainwork and it is a system that includes gathering, processing and outputting information. So writing has three stages: collecting materials, designing the structure and presenting thoughts, which have own features, rules and requirements respectively. Writing is not just confined to the literature but also widely exists in applied writing field in which writing is so utility that it can be found in all kinds of social activities in daily life. In this sense, the writing that is discussed in this paper refers to applied type.
