    Ⅰ Introduction

      With the deepening of the reform and opening up, English has become a significant tool for people to learn and work, and its status is becoming increasingly important. Learning English is not only to meet international demand, but for the sake of our own knowledge expansion. In order to adapt to the new situation, all levels of various types of primary and middle schools in our country generally open the English courses, so the students from kids to adult can learn and understand the language, which will be a great benefit for student to grasp and improve their English expression and communication ability in the future. However, owning to the effects of the Senior High School Entrance Examination and the College Entrance Examination; teachers unilaterally pursue test scores and ignore to spot and advance the desire of 源!自`751~文)论(文]网[www.751com.cn students to learn English. Due to lack of trust and encouragement from teachers, students have little interest in English learning. All of these are not conductive to the full development of the students. Numerous of experts had surveys about parts of middle school English teachers, and had a deep study for middle school students’ English learning station. The data indicates that English teaching at present compulsory education stage is not optimistic and more problems are needed to solve. In our teaching, we have found that many students couldn’t express fluently their views and feelings in English, so it seriously impact on the development of students ‘English comprehensive ability. In order to get the attention of English teachers, the following paper tries to analyze some current problems and explains some suggestions to improve. The suggestion will help to lay a solid foundation for the further study of students and the students’ ability in listening, speaking, reading, and writing and will help middle school English teachers to cultivate and develop professional qualities that a qualified middle English teacher should have.
