    摘要本文通过对比螺旋式记忆法和传统的直线式记忆法在二语习得中的应用,重点分析了在幼儿美语学习过程中对于单词、词块、词组的记忆,螺旋式记忆法所具有的优势。比起传统的直线式记忆法来说,螺旋上升式记忆法利用新旧知识结合滚动记忆的方法可以达加速学习,降低遗忘率的作用.本文在前人研究的基础上,对30名6-8岁的京尼美语的学生分成两组一组以传统的直线式记忆法进行教学另一组以螺旋上升式记忆法进行教学,两组对比进行了为期3个月的教学成果对比。数据显示螺旋上升式记忆法更加适合于幼儿美语的学习,它在滚动记忆的同时也降低了学生对陌生单词与知识的恐惧感。67366

    Title      The Advantage of Spiral Mnemonic Method in the Field of Second Language Acquisition Compared to the Linear Mnemonic  Method.    

    Abstract

    This paper is devoted to a comparative study of the application of spiral mnemonic method and linear mnemonic method in the field of second language acquisition. It mainly analyzed the advantage of spiral mnemonic method in the process of student’s English learning for word, chunk word, and phrase. Compared to traditional linear mnemonic system, spiral type mnemonic method is a scrolling way that new knowledge could be in combination with old knowledge, which thus can accelerate learning, reducing the rate of forgetting. In this paper, 30 6-8 years old children who are learning English in the GES(Genius English School) were pided into two groups ,one group was taught by traditional linear mnemonic , while another by spiral mnemonic method. These two groups were taught for 3 months. Data showed that spiral mnemonic method is more suitable for preschool students in learning English since it can help to avoid the student’s fear of new words as well as learning new knowledge on the basis of reviewing old one.

    1 Introduction

    In recent years, how to use right teaching methods to help student improve their memory ability has been a problem of great concern. Although memory is a natural human mental activity, the researchers have proposed many mnemonics to help strengthen our memory. And in this thesis, it will mainly discuss and compare two kinds of memory methods --spiral memory method and linear memory method.

    1.1 Memory 

    Memory is a psychological phenomenon that we are all familiar with. Every day, we are able to enjoy our learning, working and life, because we have memory function. For example, the person who we met before, now is not in the front, however, we can still remember his appearance and be able to recognize him when we meet him again. This is our memory. Not only the perception of things that can be saved in mind, but also the problems and theories that we have thought. The emotions that we experienced after we have been contacted with somebody or something as well as the actions we have practiced all can be saved in mind. Those impressions did not completely disappear after the things happened, they have been maintained as part of the experience in the human, and under certain conditions they can be restored.
