Title The machanical structure and control system design of a two-dimensional biochip microarrayer device
Abstract The biochip technology,which has great effects upon medical examination , drug screening, disease diagnosis and medicolegal expertise,began in 1996s. It’s a kind of multi-disciplinary technology. Thus,this paper presents a design of a two-dimensional stage combined with the micro-fluid pulse drive- control system.The 2-D(two-dimensional) stage is instructed with hardware parts and software parts.The hardware parts are used for 2-D motion of the whole precision stage,and the software parts are used for the information interchange between the PC and the SCM(Single Chip Microcomputer).The PC and the SCM cooperate online, and all the data transmission is via RS-232 serial communication.PC is used for data processing and SCM is used to respond to the PC control commands, give an order to drive a stepper motor running to achieve the movement of the biochip microarrayer device.The cooperation between the PC and the has the advantages that PC is suitable for large-scale calculating program and SCM for the field control.
