    The Situational Teaching Method create and use as much as the scenes to reproduce the books’ knowledge, so that the dull narrative of the books can be transformed into a lively performance in the classroom. During the performance, seeing the effect scene and attracted by the interests, students have the feelings in the real situation and then the students’ impression is enhancing. Ultimately learning is blended with happiness, and teaching goals is also easy. Teaching objectives and requirements are nature in students’ mind. The Situational Teaching Method in English refers to, in the teaching process, teachers set a vivid scene through language and a variety of teaching aids and had a certain authenticity to stimulate student interest learning English. In order to arouse their enthusiasm, teachers create a set of visual, hearing, and said in one situation (Chen 201). So students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are developed.
        The research on the situational teaching method has been developed for a long time. From 1920s to 1960s, this method has been widely used. After linguists and educators’ further research, the functionalism of the linguistic theory appeared and gradually was accepted by most linguists. Linguists turn their attention to the Communicative Teaching Method. The Situational Teaching Method gradually fell out of the main teaching methods’ field, since it became a part of the teaching process (Harmer 3). In China, the Situational Teaching Method was introduced into our foreign-language teaching field after the reform and opening up. Up to now it has made great achievements, for example, the Situational Teaching Method is a guide to compile the new concept English. There are many business English teaching materials that are also used in the teaching method. However, the greatest influence person of the situational teaching method is the founder of Chinese teacher Li Jilin. Mrs Li summarized up a series of important theoretical results to provide a basic method for future classroom situational teaching.
